Sew or Crochet?

Okay, so I didn't get around to going to the store to buy some fabric for my skirt. :( I still was feeling creative though so I had to do SOMETHING!
I thought i would have a go at crocheting :)

I must say, I feel like a Grandma whilst I'm crocheting :)
I thought I would just start with something simple, and maybe move on to harder things later. I quite like them :)

Books, Books, Books

I have recently added a very large bookcase in my room and only have one shelf filled of books. So I have decided to buy and read at least one book a month for a whole year. I need a list! What are your favorite books? I am open to all varieties and styles of books too!

I also found this pattern for free and I am going to try and attempt it! My first sewing piece in a few years! Wish me luck!

I Won!

I have finally won something in my life! I won these VERY cute little earrings from Lilac and Rose. They are here!

Pretty Pictures

While I was collecting flowers from my garden to press, I got a little bit distracted by the beauty of them all! I just had to take some photos. :)

These are the tags that I sold the other day! I think they look pretty good, with letters in the bulb, if I may say so myself! :)

Pressed Flowers

Look at me! I am adding photos to a blog post! I'm stepping up! :P
These are photos of me experimenting for the earring cards. I didn't actually place the pressed flower when making my paper. Just placed on top when dried.

And THIS one, is of when I experimented placing a flower while I was making my paper. I then peeled off the flower and it made a pretty neat indentation, I reckon!

New Items Coming Soon!

I am in the process of making new items! I have started making a set of pink paper sheets, that I will try and put up for sale as soon as I can! I really want to try and make some more gift tags and journals too :)

I was also asked recently whether I could press some flowers in my paper for some earring cards by 'ThirtytwoFlavors' on Etsy! I'll post some photos soon hopefully!
